Welcome to MacyLaneWrites.com! I'm Macy Lane and I'm so thrilled you're here. My vision for this site is for us to grow and explore the world of writing for children as I continue on my road to being a published author.

Currently, I am a Gold member of Julie Hedland's 12x12 challenge, The Writing Barn's Courage to Create, and the SCBWI at the national and regional level. I'm also part of a critique group that pushes me to be a better writer every day.

To date, I've been a winner of Vivian Kirkfield's #50PreciousWords contest and a recent recipient of the Write KIDLIT Now! scholarship, where I was able to attend the SCBWI National Conference in NYC in early 2024.
